Jacob Kucinic, along with the help of his father David, founded Lake City Truck Repair in January 2015. Our mission was quite simple: Use our knowledge and expertise to build a repair facility that we would be proud to work at. At the time, we noticed a trend in the local independent repair shops. Most shops were only providing either general care services, which were limited to brakes, springs, steering, and other chassis issues, or they were focused on a specialty service such as manual transmissions. Very few were really attempting to perform work beyond that, let alone do so with the right tools & technology, as it failed to meet their bottom line.

We noticed that other garages have begun avoiding properly investing and learning the technology of the future, and falling short of the needs of their customers, and placing them at the mercy of the local dealerships, who can charge whatever they so please.

We have placed a lot of time and effort into learning the ins and outs of each engine & manufacturer, with the sole intention and interest of helping you protect your most precious asset. We are truly a family of mechanics running a mechanic shop.
